Narek Mangasar is an Iranian-Armenian pianist, composer, and music producer. Drawing from Iranian and Armenian folk traditions, he integrates classical, electronic, and jazz elements into rich, emotive melodic storytelling. In his early releases, Narek explored a classical crossover soundscape through a series of singles created in collaboration with cellist Atena Eshtiaghi, laying the foundation for his melodic and cinematic approach. This direction evolved with the release of Entezar EP, developed alongside oud player Amirfarhang Eskandari, marking the beginning of Narek's integration of Iranian folk music with classical piano, jazz harmony, and electronic textures. He then worked with composer Davide Fasiello on the album Yerani, blending solo piano with folk, ambient, electronic, and acoustic soundscapes. The album beautifully combines the unique styles and sonic palettes of both artists.
