“Lost in Togetherness” is the new LP by French pianist Charmey and Italian composer Edoardo Gastaldi. Lost in immensity, in the vastness of possibilities, a singular project was born — a form of lyrical ambient, at once fragile and expansive. Here meet the deep, delicate soundscapes of Edoardo Gastaldi and the almost nineteenth-century romanticism of Charmey. Two worlds. Two sensibilities. Perhaps two solitudes. From their encounter, a sea emerged — an ocean of slow and shifting sonorities that ultimately speaks of only one thing: desire. The desire to no longer be one. Fragments, whispers addressed to a presence. To an absence. To an idea of love.
