Charmey with Arulei - A DIGITAL LOVE AFFAIR - OUT NOW

Charmey with Arulei - A DIGITAL LOVE AFFAIR - OUT NOW: https://too.fm/eoyxyaa

"A Digital Love Affair is about the main question that we, Homo internetus, are facing. It's about finding our emotions in the digital matrix, full of fakes, bots, and dreams. It's about loving without touching. It's about having sex without experiencing it.

A Digital Love Affair simply tells a story, from beginning to end, about a romance that never existed and never will.

That's why I intentionally chose to use only digital instruments—various hardware stage keyboards and VSTs, all somehow fake. That's also why, as a contrast, I asked Arulei to bring the organic sound of her beautiful violin.

A Digital Love Affair is a classical ode, a chamber music piece, or perhaps a theme and variations built on the same elements, mixing field recordings, ambient violin, neo-classical piano, and white noise...

It's an experience." (Charmey)
